Since the introduction of the Private Security Industry Act in 2001 and the creation of the Security Industry Authority (SIA), the UK has been at the forefront of the modern professional private security industry. Mandatory licensing for individual practitioners now requires all security operatives to meet three key requirements: Proof of Identification, No Criminal History, and Basic Training. Eos provides the training element of these requirements.
As an approved Centre with both City and Guilds, Edexel and the British Institute of Innkeepers Awarding Body, Eos is accredited to provide almost all of the SIA licensing training. Our services are provided to individuals and organisations and can be conducted at our Training Centre or locations convenient to our clients.
