Eos Risk Management Ltd has been serving the cruise industry as a hiring partner since 2005. The company teamed up with one of the leading corporations in the sector to provide professional, trained and vetted security personnel. Together with our client we developed an industry first initiative to strengthen vessel security as a whole and provide specialists in hotel and guest security. Since then Eos has further assisted cruise line clients in security training and has developed bespoke training programmes in:

• Conflict Management
• Crime Scene and Forensic Evidence Preservation

The training programmes have helped to improve staff professionalism, minimize the risk to staff of potentially violent situations and reduce the risk of litigation to the company.

Cruise Vessel Security and Safety Act 2009

The company has also provided specialist security equipment and systems to our cruise line clients, such as the MAD acoustic hailing devices. With the introduction of the Cruise Vessel Security and Safety Act 2009 in the USA, these acoustic hailing devices and the Crime Scene and Forensic Evidence Preservation training programme are a compulsory requirement for the cruise line industry.
