On behalf of one of the top 2 Cruise Corporations in the world, Eos trained 60 Ship Security Officers over two sessions in a discipline new to the industry.
Miami, September and December 2007, found Eos’ recently appointed Training and Operations Director, Paul Bolland, and several other members of training staff, conducting 2, 3 day, training courses for all of the Ship Security Officers from Royal Caribbean Cruise Line. The training brought UK recognised standards for conflict management and specialist sector security training to the US, with Eos being the vanguard. At the end of the 3 day training sessions the SSO’s sat 2 exams, regulated by City and Guilds International, which resulted in all of the SSO’s acheiving this very important qualification. With training delivered by Eos’ 7303 standard qualified trainers, the training was enjoyable, informative and importantly relevant, and the discipline of Conflict Management & Resolution will be brought to the fleet via the training of many front line crew. Eos has further enhanced this cascade of training to the frontline crew by providing a computer based training package to be delivered by the recently qualified Security Officers.
