Monaco Yacht Show 2009 - Crew Security Training Launch
Eos is pleased to announce that it will be launching its latest crew personal security awareness and training package at the Monaco Yacht Show 2009. In response to demand and in consultation with the yachting community the team has produced a comprehensive short course programme covering realistic personal security training for all crew members. Tragic events and other less publicised acts of aggression, theft and sexual crimes against crew have been taken into consideration with the training which will prepare crew for both before, during and after incidents. The programme also links with the existing Crime Scene Evidence Preservation package which was successfully launched into the passenger shipping sector as a result of pressure from international and national regulations. Maritime Security and Operations Manager - Paul Bolland stated "the demand for this training became apparent recently when we ran a Company Security Officer course for one of the well known Yacht Management companies. One morning one of the trainees turned up late for training, with a bruised face and other injuries. He had in fact been mugged on his way back to his hotel the previous evening and awoke in a hospital bed with his wallet and phone missing as well as sporting several injuries. The training programme I have designed has been tailored to meet the needs of crew. Having spent time in both the military, police and as a member of crew, I have used this experience to produce a practical course that will help".

Eos will also be visiting existing and new clients at the show and invites any interested parties to contact us to arrange meetings at the show.
