The Islamic State (IS) terrorist group have claimed to have captured Osama Bin Laden’s Tora Bora mountain range stronghold, located along the border between Afghanistan and Pakistan. Official Afghans have said that IS militants have seized cave complexes, after days of fighting against the Taliban. The Taliban have refuted such claims and have stated that they are still in control of the mountains, despite heavy ongoing fighting in surrounding villages. IS offensives on Tora Bora come two months after the United States dropped the largest non-nuclear bomb in the world, on as IS camp/hideout in Afghanistan.
