Malaysia: Overland Travel Disruptions Expected in Kuala Lumpur on 23 April

Anticipate disruptions to overland travel in Kuala Lumpur

Disruptions to overland travel should be anticipated around Berjaya Times Square in Kuala Lumpur on 23 April, as the ‘Superheroes Race’ run is planned to take place. Partial road closures are to be expected for roads surrounding the venue, including Jalan Imbi, Jalan Pudu and Jalan Bukit Bintang. Disruptions will continue though until at least 11:00 local time but could last for the duration of the day.

Those operating or residing in Kuala Lumpur are advised to be aware of disruptions to travel in the city, particularly in the above-mentioned areas. Plot alternative routes to bypass these areas and allow additional time for travel throughout the day. Monitor local media for more information regarding any further road closures.
