Morocco/Spain: Disruptions Likely as Ceuta Closes Border with Morocco for a Week

Local authorities in the Spanish enclave of Ceuta have announced that the Tarajal border crossing with Morocco will remain closed to the passage of porters and goods for seven days, after at least 260 migrants stormed the six-metre-high border fence and entered the territory illegally over the past week.
Anticipate heightened security and possible disruptions to border crossings between Spain’s Ceuta and Morocco over next seven days. Plan alternative routes of travel and ensure you are carrying the correct documentation papers at all times.
