North Korean military sources have revealed further details concerning their threat to strike Guam, where the US has a military base. Kim Jong-un reportedly plans to fire four Hwasong-12 intermediate-range ballistic missiles, which would land in waters approximately 30-40 km away from Guam. North Korea stated that the missiles would fly 3,357 km and cross over Japan’s Shimane, Hiroshima and Koichi prefectures. The plans for the attack on Guam will be finalised in mid-August.
