Saudi Arabia: US Lifts Laptop Ban on Flights Through Jeddah Airport
Electronic ban lifted for US-bound Saudi Arabian airlines
United States (US) authorities have lifted the ban on large electronic items, such as laptops, for US-bound Saudi Arabian Airlines flights from Jeddah’s King Abdulaziz International Airport (JED/OEJN). The decision was made after improved security were implemented. Saudia was the last carrier to be affected by the ban which was declared in March 2017. Continue to anticipate heightened security checks on US-bound flights on an ongoing basis.
