Anti-Government Protest to be Held in Belgrade on 18 April

Demonstrators are expected to assemble at Belgrade’s National Assembly of Serbia building at 18:00 local time on 18 April, to take part in the latest march against the President-elect Aleksandar Vucic. A similar anti-government demonstration is expected to take place in Novi Sad to coincide with the march.

Those operating or residing in Serbia are advised to be aware of ongoing protests against the election of the new President. Avoid all large crowds and demonstrations due to the risk of detention or protest-related violence. Plan your travel accordingly to avoid rally sites and delays to your journey. Seek shelter if tensions further escalate within the country.
