Spain: Police Detain IS-Linked Suspects in Madrid
Three suspected IS-linked Moroccan nationals arrested
Spanish authorities have arrested three Moroccan nationals, who are accused of being members of the Islamic State (IS) militant terrorist group. The suspected terrorists were detained at apartments on 14 Calle del Divino Valles in Madrid earlier this morning. No further information was immediately available.
Those who plan to travel to or within Spain are advised to be aware of the latest arrests of suspected terrorists. Whilst the arrests do not pose a direct threat to foreign nationals, travellers are nonetheless advised to remain vigilant and to be aware of the threat of Islamic extremism and terrorism in Europe. Report any suspicious packages, activity or behaviour to the local authorities.
