Sweden: Sweden Raises Terrorist Threat Level
Sweden raises terrorist threat level to 'likely'
On 12 April, Sweden raised their terrorist threat level to ‘likely’, stating “Terrorists are very likely to try to carry out attacks in in Sweden. Attacks could be indiscriminate, including in places visited by foreigners.” This comes day after a man drove a truck into Pedestrians in Stockholm, killing four people, including an 11-year-old girl.
Those operating or residing in Sweden are advised to be aware of the threat of Islamic extremism and terrorism and of the recent spate of attacks in European cities. Report any suspicious packages, activity or behaviour to the local authorities and remain vigilant.
