Yemen: US Department of State Issues Travel Warning
Avoid all travel to Yemen due to security threat posed by conflict and terrorism
The US has issued an updated travel warning for Yemen, advising against all travel to the country due to the high security threat level posed by ongoing conflict and terrorism. Hadi government elements, Saudi-led coalition forces, the al Houthi-Saleh rebel faction and al Qaeda in the Arab Peninsula (AQAP) are all fighting with the country and there are bombings and deaths recorded on a daily basis. Those who are still in Yemen are advised to depart as soon as they are able to safely do so.
Those operating or residing in Yemen are advised to take heed of the latest US Department of State warning. Avoid all travel within Yemen. If you do decide to travel against the advice given, ensure you have the necessary security arrangements in place and remain vigilant and aware at all times.
