Algeria: Maintenance Staff Strike Triggers Mass Air Algerie Fight Cancellations Nationwide

Nationwide cancellations to Air Algerie flights

Local media has reported that all outgoing Air Algerie flights throughout all of Tunisia have been cancelled, after maintenance and technical staff launched a nationwide strike, beginning at 05:00 local time this morning. Further information about the duration and impact of the strike has not yet been released.

Those planning to fly to or from Algeria with Air Algerie are advised to be aware of cancellations due to a nationwide strike affecting all flights. Reconfirm all flight schedules with booking agents or airline representatives before setting out. Monitor local media for more information and follow all directives issued by local authorities.
