ISIS claimed responsibility for attacks on Algerian police

Initial reports have indicated that at least two officers have been wounded, when a suicide bomber detonated his explosive-laden suicide vest near a police station in Constantine’s Bab el Kantara area. Islamic State (ISIS) has claimed repsoinbility for the attack. Updated reports later indicated that suspected militants exchanged gunfire with officers at a police station in the northern Boudjenana area of Constantine, in the second attack of the day targeting policemen. There has been no immediate confirmation of casualties in the clashes.
