Taxi drivers in Melbourne are planning to use their cars to blockade the Bolte Bridge on Monday 13 February, due to recent deregulatory reforms by the government. If the plan goes ahead, the blockade will begin at 0800 LT.
Those residing in southern Melbourne should allow additional time to travel north, particularly if heading to Melbourne International Airport (MEL). Increased congestion on the M1 and surrounding roads in central Melbourne should also be expected during this time. Allow additional time for travel by car.
