Bahrain: Bomb Attack Near Jua Village
Attacks persist in Bahrain
On Sunday 26 February, a bomb struck a bus carrying Bahrain policemen and security officials. The bus was stationed near Jaww Village and injured four policemen, who are currently in stable condition, according to tweets from Bahrain’s Ministry of Interior account on Twitter.
Those operating or residing in Bahrain are advised to be aware of terrorist attacks and continued clashes between protesters and security personnel. Avoid all large gatherings and exercise caution if in the vicinity of any demonstrations, due to the credible risk of violence. Avoid travel near protest flashpoints across the country, including the Budaiya Highway corridor. Heightened security should be anticipated. Leave the vicinity immediately if the security environment further deteriorates or violence continues to escalate.
