France: Manhunt Underway for Suspect Following Vehicle Ramming Attack in Paris
Six soldiers injured in vehicle ramming attack
French authorities have launched a major manhunt for a suspect who rammed his vehicle into a group of soldiers on patrol at Place de Verdun in the Parisian suburb on Levallois-Perret, before speeding off fleeing the scene. At least six soldiers were injured during the attack, two of whom are said to be in a serious condition.
Those operating or residing in France are advised to be aware of the serious threat of Islamic extremism and terrorism in the country. France has been the target of numerous Islamic extremist attacks in the past years and the country is on high alert. Report any suspicious packages, activity or behaviour to the local authorities and remain vigilant.
