Italy: Possible Flight Disruptions at Milan and Sardinia Airports, 7-8 February
Planned strikes to cause disruptions at Italian airports
Airport staff at Milan’s Linate (LIN) and Malpensa (MXP) airports have announced that they will strike from 1300-1700hrs LT on 7 February. The cabin crew of Ryanair have announced that they will strike at the same time. Further strikes are expected to take place from 1000-1800hrs LT on 8 February at Olbia Costa Smeralda airport (OLB), Sardinia.
Those who plan to travel to, from or within Italy are advised to expect delays and disruptions between 7-8 February. Travellers are advised to reconfirm all flight schedules before departing and seek advice from their airline provider.
