Turkey has released the names of approximately 420 suspected Australian jihadists thought to be travelling to fight with Islamic State in Syria and Iraq, to their ‘no entry’ list. The volume of names on the list is indicative of stalling efforts to stop the flow of jihadists to Syria, as the number of Australians on the list has grown from 90 in 2014, with 180 added in 2015 and another 150 added in 2016.

Take care when visiting densely populated tourist areas. Report any suspicious packages, activity or behaviour to the local authorities and remain vigilant.
