The Right Sector, Svoboda and National Corps nationalist groups have called for a ‘March of National Dignity’ on 22 February, from Kiev’s Maidan Nezalezhnosti at 10:00 local time, to commemorate the end of the former President’s regime and to demand changes to the country’s political system and economic system.
Those operating or residing in Kiev are advised to be aware of the planned protest on 22 February. Avoid all large crowds and gatherings of people due to the credible risk of protest-related violence. Leave the vicinity if tensions begin to escalate. Anticipate heightened security and the associated disruptions to travel.
